So I thought it'd be fun to tell my pregnancy scare story which now I look back on and laugh about. But I was home from college for the short weekend and I started to have really bad cramps like I was about to start my period but it wasn't supposed to start for a week or two. My boyfriend and I had just gotten back together and we hadn't had actual sex in weeks because of some things going on in our lives. So my mom tells me "okay we'll go to the urgent care to figure it out." Noted, I've been on birth control since January and this is like March. So we get there, I tell the nurse what's wrong and then the doctor comes in. She says "well, you could be pregnant and that's why you have these cramps." Not because of my birth control or anything. She just straight up tells me that it's probably because I'm pregnant. I'm just sitting there shocked like "I just had cramps. I'm not pregnant. That's not true wth???" And they take some tests and I'm freaked out because someone just said I'm possibly pregnant! I was eventually fine and the test results were negative and I just sat there like "you can't catch someone off guard and say that they are pregnant and that's like the only reason they feel this way." It was because of my birth control just starting and it was annoying. That's my story that I now think is hilarious.
