Telling the parents

Im 23 and my S/O is 28. He has a beautiful 6 year old little girl that I am happy to call my own. First time for me, never had to tell my parents. Im soo scarrrrreed! I would rather tell my entire family, than my parents atm. Anyone else feel the same?
