Boy or Girl???

Question

Do you get offended when people ask if your baby (at any age) is a boy or girl? I've seen some people blow up and some just laugh it off. How would you, or do you react?

For people who, let's just say "don't understand " I'm talking about people who have really pretty baby boys who could be mistaken for girls because of their big eyes and very long lashes, and baby girls that may have little to no hair, no earrings and parents who dress her in very gender neutral colors and outfits.

People always mistake my twins for girls. And I put them in such obviously boy outfits! It does bother me a little. Mostly because I don't understand how they get it wrong when it's so obvious! They have been called girls in each of these outfits!

When my daughter was born she had barely any hair until she was 2. We got her ears pierced at 2months old and she was always dressed in pink! Everything she had was girlie too! You wouldn't believe how many people would say, "oh my HE is the cutest little thing!" I would just simply reply, "yeah SHE is a girl, usually all the pink is a clear indicator of that. Unless you are color blind, then I apologize! " haha
