Vegetarians or Vegans?

Question

Are there any vegetarians out there? I'm 14, I started in 4th grade, I was about 8 or 9. I just didn't like the idea of eating animals and wasting everything of them other than their meat. I had tried it once before that and i was only able to do it for a day. After that I stuck with it and I've been since. 
Feel free to drop your story of how long you've been a vegetarian and why.

I am. I stopped eating meat when I was about  8 too and haven't touched it in 13 years. The only thing I struggle with is tablets like antibiotics that come in capsules, as the capsule contains gelatine but they're so gross out just taking the powder out of the middle.

Just wanted to pipe in and say that the ENTIRE carcass is used when we sacrifice animals. I would know.

I am 17. I was a vegetarian for 5 years, but I became anemic. I went back to eating chicken and fish for my health, but no other meat. Just be sure to find other protein and stay healthy! I did it for the same reasons. I don't like the idea of eating animals. It makes me sad and it's honestly gross.
