First time taking a test, help please.

Hello! My husband and I have been TTC since October of this year. Not long ago, but we decided it was a great time. :) I'm suppose to start my period on Monday. I have never tried a pregnancy test before, but as we were shopping today I got one of the cheapest pregnancy tests, just for fun. This was the result. Did I take it too early? We don't want to get too excited, because I don't know how accurate they are. I will take another if I miss my period this Monday. Please give me any feedback. Thank you!!
