Hate the negativity when I just ask a question!

I just need to rant. In a mommies group on Facebook I asked a question about being induced because I was scheduled to be induced next week, and barely mentioned how I got a male doctor today and didn't let him check my cervix and I was completely attacked for saying I wasn't comfortable with a male doctor! Mind you, I met him TODAY, haven't known him before. My past with men that's given me PTSD and panic disorders is my buisness, and I shouldn't have to explain that to them?! All these bitchy mothers were attacking me for my personal preference over who's fingers are in my vagina! Can anybody relate?? I hate the negativity and nobody even answered my question.
