I been checking when my period cycle is and turns out one of them is the week of my vacation to Orlando! 😢 I am not used to wearing tampons and I really wanna go swimming. What should I do? Plz help!

I just took a vacation and my period lined up exactly with my vacation days.  But since I use a menstrual cup it was no big deal.  I just put the cup in before we got on the plane and brought a supply of Advil with me.  I went swimming and still had a super fun trip!

I got married after having my daughter and I didn't get my period the entire time I breastfed so I didn't know beforehand that my upcoming wedding date would coincide with my period.  I took bc pills and the doctor helped me when best time to start during cycle to start the pill pack.

You could try BC pills, however that can take a couple months or  so to be effective in delaying your period. You could always discuss it with a doctor or like others mentioned the only alternative is tampons or a menstrual cup.

Girl,  try out disposable cups. Softcups makes one you can wear while having sex. It'll take some getting used to but will save your soul

If you are swimming you either need to use a tampon or dont get in the water would you want to see someones pad floating around or have someone notice theres blood and think someones hurt and not just oh it must be someones period

Ive gone swimming many times in pools lakes and water parks all while using tampons never had a problem

Tampons are your only option with swimming. Or a cup. It's gotta be something that can go inside you otherwise it'll absorb water, not blood. If you're really light you could always just go swimming and keep a pad near by?? I mean I wouldn't recommend that Bc that just seems like you're setting yourself up to be embarassed. But my flow is crazy heavy so maybe it's different if it's light
