Watery period

So my period is usually pretty light in amount but thick sticky in consistency, this time it was a week late (nothing new I'm as irregular as the sun in Ireland due to the implant) but this time it's Litterly looking like blood from a vein... Really watery no clumps o anything ... Any ideas in why?
