Who should be charged?

An animal owner is being charged for leaving their dog in a hot car. But I never see parents getting charged for leaving their child in the car. Why is this? Why is an animals life more important than a humans? I think if you leave any living thing inside a hot car you should be charged. Rather it's a pet, or a child etc.

Actually it's very illegal to leave your kid in a car soo... educate yourself first before thinking in anyway that an animals life is more important than a child.

Can you imagine dying of heat exhaustion? That would be awful for a human or an animal. The person responsible for the animal or child should be charged

Both should be chaged in both situations and I hear people getting charged for endangerment all the time for leaving their kid in a car. I'm impressed they even care that much about a pet but that's a great thing. A life is a life.

I've seen people get charged for leaving their kids in the car. It's based on what police find in their investigations. Not all of them are charged. But watch the news. You'll find that many are charged.

I posted this just 2 days ago. A child was left in the car by the mother and almost died. The child would have if the father didn't find him. This mother didn't get charged. And I see it constantly on the news of parents not getting charged because as they say "accidents happen"
