Breastfeeding and nipple shields

I am a first time breast feeder and let me tell you it can be frustrating when your little one is hungry but can't latch on. My little one is 2 days old and thank goodness for whoever invented nipple shields!! The hospital gave me one and even though I still try without it we end up using it every time. So to all you other first time breast feeders having trouble, give it a try it's a lifesaver!!
