Ava arrived on her own!

Due date was 6/22. Was scheduled for induction on 6/28 for no medical reason other than being 41 weeks and predicted big baby. Was measuring 1cm dilated and 20% effaced at my 40wk appt. I was so discouraged and fearing induction. She decided to start things herself on 6/27 at 6am. Labored for 36 hours! Pushed for 2.5 hours and vaginally delivered my 10lb, 21 inches baby girl. She was predicted 8.5lbs at 38 weeks. I couldn't have done it without my supportive husband, birthing doula, amazing nurses and encouraging dr!
