a few periods ago, my mom went to get something out of my bag (totally forgot what she was getting) & she found a tampon in my bag. she asked why it was in there, i claimed i was holding it for a friend. obviously knowing it was a lie, she ignored it. shes made it very clear she thinks im too young for tampons. but im 16, all my friends use them, and the first time i used it i didnt have a choice. i had started unexpectedly and it was all my friend had. now i'd rather have tampons than pads but my mom wont buy them for me. i was stealing them from her for a while until i just had my grandma buy tampons for me bc pads personally are so uncomfortable. but really, is there an age for the use of tampons?
