We took our daughter camping at 8 weeks old for the first time and she did great! We've been on several trips since, and planning on going this weekend. :) she's 4 months now.

Depends on the kid.  Camping with my oldest was torture until he was out of the napping stage.  The other two have been good campers.  My middle son was 8 weeks the first time we went camping.

*By "camping", I probably mean "glamping".  We have a hard side camper.  No tenting or portaging.

I just got back from taking my 11 week old. He loves the outdoors and had a great time. Brought his pack n play for him to sleep in. It got cold at night but we had a propane heater that helped. Just used layers. Would absolutely take him again.

We took our son when he was 3 and a half months old. He loved it! He ended up sleeping a lot I think due to the stimulation of constantly being outside.

My mama took my sister camping at 1 month. As long as baby is safe and clean, why not? She nursed her and had a pack n play there and stuck a crib sheet over the pack n play (well, back then they weren't actually pack n plays but it was a playpen) to keep bugs out. We had a zip up screen tent for around the picnic table to avoid bugs as well. We all had a blast!
