New job offer & 6 weeks pregnant!?!?

Hi ladies,

My husband and I are in the process of moving and I have been applying to jobs for the last few months. All in the same week we found we were pregnant and I received a job offer. I accepted of course but I'm worried about whether or not to hide my bump or to tell them right away?...I have to pass a 3 month probationary period then I'm eligible for benefits so I have been leaning more towards waiting until then..,to let them know. But then my conscious tells me I should just be straight forward..? So confused anyone have suggestions or been in the same boat? Thanks!!

You did the right thing. 
Your doctor will not recommend sharing news until you're at least past the first trimester. Your probation period puts you just past that mark. The actual baby size is an estimate (an educated estimate) and many times babies arrive before/after due date. You did the right thing. Once your probation period is up and all is well otherwise, feel free to share the news with your company.

I will be 6weeks tomorrow and am starting a new job July 11th. Same story... Found out I was pregnant and 2 days later got offered the job. I took it as well and have a 90 probationary period. I won't be saying anything until after then either. It is more about my peace of mind than trying to hide anything. Plus I don't want it to be a distraction for my new employer. Just want them to focus on hpw awesome I am. Then they will be happy for me when I tell them.

My coworker was in your situation and it all worked out just fine. She told me pretty early on so she could have someone to confide in, but waited to announce to our group until she was 3 months along and we were all excited for her.

As long as you show the company that you're committed to them and your new job, things will work out well. :)

Unless the jobs dangerous, I'd get in there for a bit and make an impression before telling them.  I've only been at my new job for 3 months and I found out a little less than 2 months in.  Luckily I had already shown them how I work so I gave them the heads up almost immediately, my jobs high labor so I felt safer with them knowing just incase something happened.

I just started working last week I didn't want to tell them cuz I wanted to pass my 90 day probation but unfortunately I'm having problems with this pregnancy so I had to let them know😕🙏🏼 good luck
