Hi guys! I had a third degree tear, before delivery I only had very small hemorrhoids I got during pregnancy. After delivery I examined myself with a mirror and I cried! My bottom looks disgusting! The doctor has applied stitches internally and externally, she stitched me from vagina close to the rectum and it's about an inch of skin that looks elevated on the outside. Now, I'm wondering is this elevated because of trauma from birth and obviously the swelling and stitches and it will disappear and my bottom will look plat again or is this permanent?! I'm freaking out!!!!
