Anterior placenta and birth?

I have an anterior placenta which means my placenta is on the front of my uterus, my question is has anybody had that and given birth naturally??

I had anterior placentas with my first 2 and had natural births no problem. As long as its not previa or low lying or some other type of issue it doesnt really matter.

I also have an anterior placenta and the way my OB explained it to me is that it's being left handed versus right handed. Has no affect on delivery. Hope that helps!

The only time it's an issue is when the placenta is covering the cervix. You may feel less movement, but that's about it. It's totally fine!

I have one and also had a complete previa until 30 weeks, it's since moved and my ob has said that as long as nothing covers my cervix again that I can have her natural..

I had anterior plecenta with my last pregnancy and again with this pregnancy. I had all natural births leading up to the last anterior plecenta. The plecenta had detached during delivery and was coming out first the doc didn't know that until I had to have emergency c section tho. Baby heart rate dropped and my blood pressure was dangerously low that's why the did the c sectiin. My high risk doc is saying that I should be able to go natural but reg ob thinks I will have another c section. As of right now they r gonna let me try to do vbac but ob says if I have to be induced with meds I will have to have another c section. I want to go vbac but afraid of putting baby and self at risk. I'm not sure what to do

Yes... I have an anterior placenta as well and due Aug 8 and my dr said it's okay to deliver naturally... only problem would be if for whatever reason the placenta moves and blocks your cervix.... then a c section would be necessary
