I was just at the pool and there was this mom with her three children. She wasn't even paying attention to them! She walked by me to get on her floaty and sunbathe and I could smell the alcohol on her. It irritated me because one she was not even watching her children who might I add are not strong swimmers. (They were still holding on to the sides of the pool that goes from 0" to 5' but it's more like 6'.) and she looked like she was dozing off when she was tanning on her chair. Then she was drinking!? I don't know if I'm just an overprotective kind of person but I just think it's wrong to not watch after your children while they are swimming. This pool is a private apartment pool so there are no lifeguards. It's spiral shaped (weird I know) so there are a ton of blind spots due to plants and chairs/patio furniture). Anyways feel free to comment. I just personally believe it's so dangerous to let your inexperience swimmers to swim all around like that without supervision. Even experienced swimmers can drown at a moments notice.
