I was induced at 40w 6d and I had a great experience. Cervidil at 7p petocin the next morning at 7a the cervidil didn't really do anything... they broke my water in the afternoon and I had 2 doses of dilaudid 5 pushes later at 8:03p my baby girl was born. No issues whatsoever. I would do it again. I'm not sure I want another child yet but mine is only 5months old lol good luck!

I have been induced 4 times! My 1st bby my water was leaking we thought I was 38 weeks so we induced well he was just a very long baby because I was actually 36 weeks. My 3rd child water broke but no steady contractions so we did pitocin. I had a great experience all 4 times. Yes the contractions are different with pitocin BUT it is so worth it! Congrats and don't worry you will do great
