I would this kind of test until the line started to get dark. Then I'd use a digital to confirm. They are pricy but once you figure your cycle out you can narrow it down to testing maybe 2 or days a cycle.  Then then a box of digitals last a few cycles!

That's what my positives look like. My digital would say peak and this kind would look like that. I never get a line darker than the test line.
