What is the proper procedure?

I just read that after sex the woman should stay laying down for at least 15 minutes to let the 'swimmers' do their thing... I'm always afraid of getting a UTI if I don't go to the bathroom immediately after doing the deed.. What do you ladies do?

I get utis super easy. I used softcups after to hold the sperm by my cervix and go pee, works like a charm and I got pregnant my first cycle trying it too

Not going to matter if you sit, stand or lay. If they are near the opening of cervix that's all you need lol. I never laid there really because I always had to pee afterwards so I always got up. But if you want you can totally up to you.

My doctor told me to pee within two hours of having sex to help prevent a UTI. So far it's worked and I get to just lay around for a few minutes without stressing it.

I immediately get up and pee. Third pregnancy, so I doubt you gotta wait...

I take the risk and don't got the loo till my 15 minutes is up. I have heard before that thumbs something we do not have to do but I still do anyway just incase 👍🏻
