My husband's last name is long and ugly! I have a great last name and really struggled with the decision to change it when we were engaged. Thankfully he said he didn't care if I took his name or not and I decided to keep my name. It may eventually cause some confusion with me having a different name than my kids but neither of us really care!

I picked it's okay because I'm married and kept my name but I don't dislike his.

I have done a lot of work, including getting my masters with my last name. I have a reputation in my field and I don't want to complicate it by changing my name. I love my name!

His last name is great. Probably nicer sounding than mine but that's not enough for me to give up my name.

My fiancé shares a last name with the crazy ass "Shameless" tv family.... Gallagher. My name will almost rhyme too... Mallory Gallagher. I'll be Mal Gal... But I'm still adding his name. I'll keep mine as a middle name since I don't have one.
