When do we have to apply for it and how long may it be? Will my SO still receive this as he has only been working his new job around a month so how would it work??

I think he has to have been employed in that job since the start of pregnancy to qualify as my SO is in same boat. He's just saving his holiday to take instead! But definitely check in with his HR team to see what he's entitled to. X

He needs to tell his employer by the 25th week of pregnancy. He will need to find out his employers policy on pay. More info on the gov.uk website.
