Mucinex for fertility ?

Do women really use mucinex to help them get pregnant ? Thoughts ?

I did it & it wasn't successful for me. But that month I didn't notice ANY ewcm. We tried for 8 months and the only month I noticed ewcm is the month I got pregnant and no mucinex involved. But I think it really can help.

I asked our Fertility Specialist about Mucinex at our last visit , and he just said " yea it would help with mucus , but you know what works better? Good old fashion Robitussin"!  Never heard that before in my life , buy after looking at this Drs plaques and accomplishments all over the wall, I am seriously considering it !!

I was surprised to see the results of this poll... I honestly thought the amount of people who tried it and DID get pregnant would be higher, but only 5% of voters said it worked for them. I'm one of those ladies who have tried it multiple times with no success... thinking of maybe giving the Ribitussin suggestion a try next. Couldn't hurt, and I'm always up for new suggestions! I've tried pretty much everything I can think of: Mucinex, pineapple core method/Bromelain, soft cups, Preseed, Geritol (liquid AND pill), folic acid, OPK, BBT, etc etc etc, but it's as they say... If at first you don't succeed, try try again! Here's to never giving up, trying new things, and hopefully getting our bfp's SOON! GL ladies!!!

Mucinex helps to thin mucus, which will thin cervical mucus as well, making it easier for sperm to get where it needs to go. I've used it myself with no success yet, but DO know ladies that attributed it to successfully conceiving. GL!!

I'm trying mucinex this cycle, just started taking it to day as just starting my fertile window hope it works. Baby dust to all.

I happen to conceive in may and I was taking Mucinex due to my allergies.. maybe it was a luck maybe not..I did alot of other stuff too..
