Are you a parent to your child or are you more of a friend?
I've known so many parents/people who were a friend first to their child and they are out of control, running the streets, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, etc. I have friends in which their mothers LET their young teenaged child have sex instead of getting caught up in school. I know people whose parents let them drink, smoke, smoke weed, and do drugs with them just to be the "cool parents."
