Gifts for the nurses??

So I was asked if I was going to give the nurses gifts while I'm at the hospital.... I didn't know that's a thing!! Is cookies okay?? And how many bags should I make?? I had friends say that if I don't they won't be as nice to me during my stay!! I'm freaking out! Help?? I'm a ftm btw.

With my first, my mom said the Labor and delivery nurses were very nice and attentive so she took it upon her self to bring them flowers and snacks. But I dnt think it's something u should feel like ur required to do, maybe after ur time with them if u feel they deserved it

A thank you card is the usual thing n gifts are optional. I'm just gonna get a few boxes of chocolates so they can share round. The amount they run around, the calories won't matter n they could do with the caffeine n sugar to keep going! Lol
