Am i pregnant?

My periods are regular and i usually get my period around the same time every month. I am now 5 days late and i have started to lightly bleed. I have pregnancy symptoms. I tested with an at home test and it showed negative. But could i be pregnant?

Answer

You may have ovulated much later in your cycle, and that could be implantation bleeding. However, that usually occurs before/around your expected period. My suggestion is that if the bleeding gets heavier, it's your period. But, if it stays light or stops, take a test 2-4 days from now.
