Does over saturation result in false results?

I dipped a frer curved handle to test a minute ago and somehow forgot about it for about 10 seconds, so I took it out and set it down but I saw the test was forming weird so I took it out of the case to let it finish. I know they're invalid the second they hit fresh air but it had a solid faint line before hand. It's my last frer but I'll be retesting tomorow. Any thoughts?
