Did my water break?

Okay ladies,

I have no idea what has happened. My hubby and I were having sex and when finished, he told me either I peed or my water broke. I told him I had no need to pee before sex. I didn't realize that the amount of fluid was quiet large and smelled of ammonia. I went to the bathroom and didn't notice anything while cleaning myself up. No blood. The baby is moving around a lot, so all is well, but how can I tell if it was my water breaking or me wetting the bed. If it wasn't 3 am, I would go to the hospital, but or daughter is asleep and I don't have family close.
