Can I bring my 1month old son to fireworks ?

I'm a first time mom and it's Canada day !! We want to go to fireworks but aren't sure if the baby will be scared or if we should even bother going , what do other moms think? Have you brought your new born to things like this or should we not even bother and just stay home ???

I would get noise reduction headphones if you can before then. Not bc he might scream but for the health of your little ones ears. If he's young enough he might not react but that doesn't mean you might not do damage. We got a pair for my little guy when we wanted to take his big bros to Daniel tiger live, they were $25 on Amazon and we've since also used them to go see finding dory and I plan to bring them to the 4th of July parade. He's 7 months now and I kinda expect him to scream through it but I'm hoping the ear phones help. Plus they're kinda cute.

Stay home. Unless you have baby earmuffs then it would be ok. It is way to loud for a newborn

We bought special headphones designed for kids that go over their ears completely with foam on them. My son's 7 and still wears them to monster trucks but has started refusing to wear them at fireworks for half the show. Well be getting some for my daughter because she'll be almost 1 when we go to the next ones.

Last year 4th of July our little mister was 2 weeks old and loved the fireworks.
