Will he get in trouble?

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for a few months now, I just turned 15 and he turns 18 in September. He is incredibly kind to me and my parents love him, two weeks ago we started having sex and everything has been great. Since I live in Washington the age of consent is 16, so there will be about 9 months where us having sex will not be legal. Can he still get in legal trouble even if my parents don't press any charges?

If you were to get pregnant yes or if somebody were to report it to the police, it doesn't have to be your parents who report it or press charges. No matter who tells the police it is still illegal and he can get in quite a bit of trouble including being put on the sex offender list. Just don't do it. It isn't worth the risk.

This is the law in Washington state. So, yes he can get in trouble, but that is only if you, your parents, or someone else tells the police. If they do not know about than he cannot get in trouble.
