Can I get cheap or free birth control if I have no job or insurance?

Recently turned 18 and I have no insurance and no job. I'm doing college classes away from home right now and can't have a job due to my schedule. 
I'm on a budget for food, and other things I need (tampons, shampoo toiletries etc) 
Can I go to planned parenthood and ask for birth control? How much would it cost?

Planned parenthood or a health clinic will give you birth control they are a sliding scale on income so you should get it for free or a small cost i was 15-19 and went to both and got mine free i told planned parenthood i dont grt an allowance which is true and that i had insurance but it didnt cover bc and i had no trouble they gave me a 6 month supply for free same with the health clinic
