I was called a slut, whore, slag act throughout school after getting pregnant from rape at 13.
Now I'm still called a slut etc for having 2 sons from different dads. Slut shaming won't stop, too many close minded people who love drama exist

Of course. And it's a much bigger issue than just "oh I heard she slept with so and so, what a slut"

It negatively impacts careers, personal lives, mental well being, and also helps keep our pervasive rape culture alive. None of which are good things. All of which should not be happening.

If you sleep around its your business but know ppl will judge you because of it. The reason they say you have no respect for yourself is because you put yourself in a position to be disrespected. Whether you believe sex is freedom or not. If you don't want ppl judging you based off sexual experiences, it's best to not put it out there because they will. And if youre that liberal, to firmly believe in having as much sex as you want with all different people, be proud and don't give a damn what people say. Learn how to have a backbone, quick tongue, and shot fire attitude. Name calling effects you if you let it. Don't look for validation from others to run around having sex because they won't give it to you.

If someone calls you a slut but your a virgin or don't go around sleeping with people or just so happened to get pregnant the one time you have sex, they are just dicks. It's not slut shaming and you too need to also stand up for yourself and build a backbone and realize some ppl are just cruel. Don't allow ppl to define you.

Moral- when ppl try to tell you who you are, punch back harder and say this is who I am. Ppl are going to judge you no matter what you do in life.

I was slut shamed all through middle school when I was still a virgin.  It's just people bring assholes and judging you just because they have nothing better to do in life. My cousin who's slept with over 50+ guys never been called a slut. I now slept with 2 my husband being one of them.  I been called a slut multiple times because I turned them down and that bruised their ego  .

Unfortunately. I can't comprehend why everyone is so concerned with sex they're not even having. I don't get why having sex is a bad thing. It's fun, healthy, and normal.

Yes it is. Unfortunately it will continue to be given a few factors:
(1)so long as people continue to make the sex lives of other consenting adults their business to the point that they think they are entitled to make judgement calls on it.
(2) so long as people continue to buy into the idea that there is a direct correlation between how many people someone has had sex with and their worth or self esteem.
(3)so long as people continue to use how many people someone has slept with as justification for degrading and name-calling.

Basically so long as people continue to act like judgemental assholes who can't mind their own bedroom there will be slut shaming.
