How do you kick your husband out?

Just wondering, if you're having marital issues leading toward divorce, how do you take hold of your home and kick your husband out? Is this possible? What if he refuses to leave? My husband loves to say that I'd have nothing without him and he pays all the bills, which by the way, isn't entirely true.

Show him. Get the papers and if he refuses to leave, wait until he goes to work and pack EVERYTHING that is yours and leave before he comes back. Leave the papers on the table with a big ole lipstick stain on it. 💋😏

In Texas it doesn't matter if your related or not. Even if the persons name isn't on the lease or title, if they don't want to leave then they don't have to. Police can't make them and they will tell you it's a civil matter. As long as there is no abuse going on. If he is not physically abusing you, don't report that he is. Some women do that.

It depends on whose name the house is in. If it's in both names, you'll have to go through the courts Bc there's no clear 'this is ...'s house' if it's in your name, treat him like a roommate. He has 2 weeks (look up local laws. Here's it's 2 week notice) before he's evicted. If it's in his name, you'll have to move unless he decides to give it to you.
