Small oven= burnt 😩 help
I have an apartment size oven and I HATE it. I have managed to deal with the lack of space ... Cooking just seems to take longer because of that, at least on the top. The oven only came with one rack and on top of that I literally burn everything I put in it. Sometimes putting the rack near the top helps in reducing things getting burnt but for the most part everything I bake burns on the bottom and sometimes isn't even cooked in the middle. I can't go by instruction bake times and my husband hates burnt food and it's making me miserable that I can't figure this out! We rent a pretty nice duplex but for some reason the kitchen only has an apartment size oven which is really inconvenient but it is what it is! I love baking for him and cooking for him but I need some kind of help here. I'm assuming that things are overheating to quickly inside because it's a smaller space? Can anyone give me an idea on how I can bake things without burning them every single time with these small ovens?
