First time mom.. I got my bfp now what?

Ive never been pregnant we've been trying for three years. This morning I tested and I got a BFP! So excited! My question is what now? Do I call
The dr tomorrow or wait a couple of weeks since I'm only a day late?

My first appointment is coming friday. I will be 6 weeks. But I wanted it to be checked early because I already suffer from high blood pressure Since a couple of years. So really want to be sure that everything is ok with my little baby. :-)

There's no problem with calling now. I called the day I got my bfp. They just scheduled it around the time they wanted.

If you want to be seen now, you can be. You are in control of your healthcare. Say you want a blood test confirmation. I would call tomorrow, especially since you've been ttc for so long.

I saw my doctor at 6 weeks and was referred to midwifes and seen again at 12 weeks x

You can call now, but you prob won't be seen until 6-8 weeks for blood work and then you come back and see the doctor 8-10 weeks. Usually the first apt you won't see the doctor. Congrats!

I called my doctor right away and got an appointment the same week. They'll likely ask when your last period started. My dr wanted to do blood work to confirm pregnancy and then she wanted to see me again a week later to make sure my levels went up

I waited to call until I was about 10 weeks but I reccommed waiting at least until 6 weeks to call because some places with see you at 7-8 weeks sometimes , congrats!!
