Can you warm bottles in the microwave?

I know it can cause them to heat unevenly but if you shake them after does that make it ok or is there another reason you shouldn't do this?

It's because heating the milk kills the anti bodies in the breast milk, it's still safe to give but the milk won't be as healthy for baby, tho still better than formula

No microwaved boil water and and put he water in a bowl and set the bottle in the bowl then it doesn't get too hot. And if you use breast milk NEVER shake. (If you use formula sorry it's just a warning incase)

BPA and other toxins can be emitted from the plastic to the milk if heated in microwave.

No its not good for the plastics in the bottle.  Take a pitcher or large mug put hot water in it and place the bottle in it.  So they may not heat up right in he microwave or you can make it way hotter then it should be.

i only microwaved my sons refrigerated formula for 10 to 15 secs max. Shook it and checked the temp on my hand by dripping a few drops on the back of my hand. It was barely room temp

Definitely don't microwave breastmilk. Formula i think u can just be careful for hot spots

I do it if I dont have time to wait. But now Im training my son to take a cold bottle. He did it yesterday so basically temp doesnt matter now.

If it's for the uneven heat cause only if you have to get the bottle to baby fast I'd do it. Just as you said shake it up first and test it
