My husband wanted a baby more than I did. He also wants more kids and to have them closer together (I want 1 total, he wants 3 right away). We tried for this baby. But now that baby is born (8 weeks) hes hiding in his mancave all the time, he wants to make all these big purchases, he's spent like $1800 this month on a new bbq, a new saw, a bunch of new pairs of shoes and expensive sunglasses. And NNNOOOOWWWW he "needs" a new phone, when he totally has insurance and can just get a replacement but he was ts a new one.

He's always been an easy going, don't need much kinda guy. Now all the sudden he needs all this stuff and is hiding out away from his kid! Wtf!!!

Hes already only home 3.5 days a week. He works & sleeps away from home the other 3.5 days, you'd think he would spend every waking moment with him and want to go out and spend $$ on his baby not on himself for shit he doesn't even need.

I am getting a good ammount of disability and paid family leave right now, so it's extra money we wouldn't have had otherwise. I said I didn't mind if we each got something we have been wanting (I got a fishtank and a baby carrier, under $200 total for both). I never thought he would be trying to spend thousands of dollars. Like wtf
