Douching with water PP?

Question

Does anyone know how long after birth you should wait before douching with warm water? I only use water (no products or anything) while in the shower. I'm 1 month PP today and did a light rinse in the shower and now I'm feeling kinda crampy. Trying to determine if it could be related or not. The doctor's office is closed, otherwise I'd call them and ask.

definitely bad idea.. You need to talk to your dr because this can cause serious infection they say no anything in there til at least 6 to 8 weeks pp

Most docs will tell you to never douche at all, and the water in your shower contains bacteria. Also, nothing in you PP until 6-8 weeks.
