Is this normal?

Baby is 11 days old. Her umbilical cord fell off when she was about 1 week. A few days later her belly button started to bleed. There is no odor, she isn't running a fever, no pus, no redness around the area, and she doesn't seem to be in pain.. But I worry so much as a first time mom. Someone help. Is it normal to bleed for a couple days? Do I clean it with anything?

My little girls belly button looked like that after it fell off. I would clean it and later on it would have the dark crusty blood again. I took her to the doctor and he put some cream on it and it stopped the bleeding and her belly button healed completely within a few days.

Looks very normal.. It might bleed a little bit if ur baby cries a lot but as long as theres no fever and the area around the belly button doesnt get hard or look bruised then ur baby is healing perfectly.

When my baby's fell off there was a little left that didn't come off inside the belly button. There was a little bit of bleeding but not much for a couple of days. It was also about a week when it came off. After a few days the rest came off on its own. We just continued to give her sponge baths until it was gone.

As long as it's not a lot of bleeding and doesn't smell bad, I think it's fine

My doctor said completely normal. Take a wet cotton swab and get it off but obviously be gentle

Sometimes belly button bleeding means baby has to get vitamine K shot again. Check with your doctor.

My daughters fell off after about a week, but we also traveled 12 hours bc we moved so her seat belt rubbed. At the hospital they told us to keep it clean with alcohol wipes which also help dry it up. My little girls liked funny for a little while too,  but her pediatrician said it was normal. She was my first too.

Looks pretty normal, maybe just fell off a little early. I would just leave it alone.
