Gynecologist Jitters!

Hey guys! So I'm 17yrs old and I'm going to my first visit to the gynecologist on the 15th. Just some background info on why I'm going: I have extreme cramping on my period and I've been on major pain killers since I was 13-14yrs old (age that my period started) because they were so bad. We're hoping this visit will help us find out a way to make them easier. I'm pretty nervous and I was just wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice on what to expect or how their first time was. Anything would be great! Thanks guys!
