Fingers, Pacifiers or None?

My daughter has used a pacifier since birth but recently started pulling it out and sucking on her hands instead at 4 months.

Which do you prefer for your little one?

Ebf LO has had pacifier since 4weeks, but only really when settling down for naps and sleep then she spits it out.  She's 7 weeks now and has recently started sucking her hands and drooling everywhere!! I'd rather her have the pacifier as I can take it away when I think she's too old for it.

My 8week old has started teething and grabs my fingers and chews on them.  That might be why
