When someone tells you " I feel like I'm never gonna move forward with you in life." Should I just walk away after the 4 years of memories we built ? This isn't the first time he has told me this ... I love him but I would never want to be the person who holds someone back from moving forward in life.

After 4 years if he's still saying that u have to let go and move on. That means he'll never commit more than that. 
If ur ok with that situation then that will be ur decision to accept what he's saying.

Move on. As hard as it might be, but move on, in 4 years time, you will have made new memories with somebody who treats you right. He is not a nice person, people move on, thanks to their own actions. He can n't blame you for not moving on. Good luck!

You deserve better and someone who will love you like you love them. I'm lucky to have found that someone at the age of 27. I thought I'd never find the one and never get married or have kids and here I am I might be pregnant with our first baby and later on we will get married. He loves me so much as I love him. When it's right it's not forced on either side. I wish you the best

I'm kinda on your boat, after 3 years my SO has always known I want kids and to move out but he still to this day tells me that I need to find someone else if that's what I want. I can't bring myself to move on
