Removed Paragard IUD

I recently removed paraguard IUD, after its trusty companionship of 5 years, because my hubby and I have now decided to expand our family!!!! We are super excited for this new journey and I am so glad I found the Glow community! My midwife had told me during the appointment that it can take up to 1 year to conceive.-- does anyone have any personal experiences with timing from IUD removal to pregnancy? Just curious- any info would be helpful!  Thanks!
