I've always wanted to adopt a baby from east Asia or Africa. I never wanted to get pregnant. I always thought I'd be perfectly content adopting and still do. But we have an unplanned baby coming in September so now adoption is off the table. 😔 but it always makes me wonder, how come so many people don't want to adopt? I see couples spend tens of thousands of dollars on <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> and when it doesn't work, they just give up and don't have children. I know of a woman who spent $100,000 trying to get pregnant. It didn't work. She could have spent 20k to adopt. Why do people want their own child so much? There are millions of orphaned children in this world who deserve so much love.  Why don't more people adopt?
