Any tips on trying anal?

My boyfriend has asked me to try anal, which I've never done before but I do want to give it a try. Do you have any tips for me, or anything you wish you would've known before trying it?

1) Accept you're going to have a penis in your butt. This is rule #1 because it's more mental than anything, and if you don't accept this, you won't be able to do step 2 properly & you'll have a less than awesome experience

4) More lube
5) Even more lube
6) Start small & slowly with something like a finger and gradually increase in size until your comfortable with a penis. Or try butt plugs.

8) Yes, it does feel like pooping in reverse.
9) Go at YOUR pace, don't let him go any faster than you're comfortable with 
10) Enjoy it, it can be very pleasurable if you can relax
