How many of you had full bladder for your anatomy scan?

I've been waiting 9 weeks for my ultrasound appointment. They told me to come with a full bladder but I've been throwing up for two days and although I've been drinking water all day it keeps coming back up so don't think my bladder will be full. I'm scared they'll turn me away and I'll be waiting months for another scan!! Also hoping I don't have a to barf during the scan!!

I was also told to empty my bladder for the anatomy scan. Baby wasn't cooperating and the tech was digging and giggling my belly so much I can't imagine having a full bladder for that.

My doctor asked me to empty my bladder twice before the anatomy scan.

I didn't had a full bladder. Like you I threw up a lot. I've had many scans with no full bladder, and I've seen my baby just fine :)

I did and it was the worst! After she told me it was a boy-I didn't even care b/c I needed to go so bad. It seemed like she took FOREVER taking all the measurements! 
I almost stopped her cause I had to go so much but luckily I made it through 😂

I had a very full bladder. It was so painful but they never told me to it just happen that way. Also she did a quick scan with the full bladder and then had me empty it for better results she said.

My tech told me to empty mine after multiple attempts to get a good view. Then when I went back in everything was good. I wouldn't have made it the whole scan the way my bladder was lol

I was told to have a full bladder and my bladder was soooo full to the point the nurse told me to go ahead and empty it lol. Because it hates to bad to hold it for 30 plus minutes.

For my anatomy scan I had to have a full bladder it was the worst thing ever I was so uncomfortable. The first half hour was full bladder and then i could empty it after for the other half of the scan. Some measurements they take they need a full bladder for it to be more accurate. If you are early less then 10 weeks they might do a transvaginal. My anatomy scan and first ultrasound wasn't until 21 weeks.

For the ANATOMY scan? The one hour long ultrasound where they analyze every little bone? I was told the complete opposite.i was told to go and empty my bladder when I came in,  because it will take a while and the technician will be applying pressure and be on my belly for a while. . 
I was however, given a  glass of ice water and had to lay on the left side for rwo minutes,  because my daughter didn't let us mesure everything.. once I had some ice water,  she was moving around and changing positions...all went normal..
