what do you mommies think about this?

I've read on here that mothers feed their babies 3 oz every 3 hrs during the day but at night give them 5 oz and they sleep longer. Was wondering everyone's opinion?

I feed my daughter however much she's going to eat and don't limit her. They sleep better at night when they have good naps during the day. Don't know why but when my daughter barely naps she has a horrible night and when she has a good nap schedule she has a good night's sleep.

I feed her until she doesn't want anymore. I don't believe in restricting their intake, if she's hungry, I'll let her eat. Sometimes she eats often because she'll sleep for 4-6 hours straight.

I breastfeed and feed on demand and let her eat for as long as she wants.

I wouldn't push a baby to eat more than they want at any time but would be fine with giving more at night if that's what they wanted.

My baby tends to eat more frequently in the few hours before bedtime. She sleeps well at night (typically 7pm to 2 or 3 am). She is 11 weeks.

My baby naturally wants more at night. She stores it up and sleeps longer. I would say it's no big deal, because a lot of babies do it anyway, especially once they get older.
