I wanted to share this because it sucks that I live in an area that this is a reality. I do not want to start a race debate because for every situation like this here, I can also think of a situation in reverse here. I live in Kentucky and in my experience, there is still an amount of division between different races and I would like to see that change one day. My thing with this is you never know what the person who is serving you is going through. At this TGIF, all servers regardless of race make $2.13 an hour plus a their tips. The server this was given to is a friend of mine named Chris, and I know Chris is still coming up with rent. Chris dates my bestfriend. My bestfriend had surgery a month ago and wasn't able to work.
