I created a monster
My 3 month old takes forever to go to sleep and it always invokes a lot of crying until she settles down after a long nursing session, usually two, and then I hold her until she goes down. I know this isn't ideal- I know I should be able to just put her down awake, rub her belly and sing her a song and she will drift off as I leave the room, but that is just not at all what we have going on. I feel like I held her too much in the last three months and now she will be a horrible sleeper forever.
Anyone else feel a little lost when it comes to sleeping at night? Naps are fine- she takes about 4 a day but night time is so hard and I don't have her down j til 9 most nights, sometimes later. Am I alone in this?
