Dramamine during pregnancy?

I'm just curious if anyone has taken Dramamine while pregnant? Especially the first trimester? Obgyn says it's safe to use. I'm asking because I'm already prone to nausea as it is because I get bad bad motion sickness. So now I'm constantly sick and today I started throwing up and I'm 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I used to take Dramamine a lot because when I got motion sickness it never went away. I just want to be cautious about my baby and make sure it is as healthy as possible. But I can't function I can't eat or drink whenever I do get sick. Let alone take my prenatals.
